We are pleased to announce that the 3rd NIAA Annual Scientific Meeting will take place at the RCoA in London on Monday 21st May 2018.

The meeting will include updates on NIAA-related research activities including the Health Services Research Centre (HSRC), the UK Perioperative Medicine Clinical Trials Network (POMCTN), and as 2018 is the 10 year anniversary of the NIAA there will be a look back at its achievements and a focus on plans for the future.

NIAA Research Award

The programme will also include the NIAA Research Award, which is open to all current and active researchers of anaesthesia, critical care, perioperative medicine and pain across the UK. It provides a great opportunity for new investigators to get their work recognised.

Applicants for the award will be asked to submit an abstract of their ‘body of work’ based on a clear, evidence based research question. Short listed applicants will be invited to present at the meeting and the overall winner will be announced on the day.
