Our Carotid Endarterectomy project has hit its recruitment target!

For those that haven’t heard of it, the CEA project is a trainee led national audit examining peri-operative blood pressure monitoring and management in patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy. Our goal is to understand national attitudes and practises in blood pressure control in the peri-operative period for CEA patients.

We have recruited over 100 patients, and the data analysis is currently ongoing. We hope to have more news for you soon.

We’d like to thank everyone across the region who has been involved with the study so far. It really makes a difference to have such engagement.
